This model, also called the Traffic Safety Meter, maps the regional road safety risk themes. It is based on the twelve risk themes defined in the 'Utrecht Traffic Safety Survey' and the RUA. Available to all road authorities in the province of Utrecht (municipalities, water board and province).

The Network Traffic Safety Analysis identifies traffic safety risks on (parallel) roads, bicycle paths and intersections managed by the province of Utrecht. Accident data and risk indicators (infrastructural and use/behaviour) are used.

The algorithm in the software is mainly set to recognise and anonymise privacy-sensitive information in documents. Basis for this is the AVG. The tool is also used to highlight and mask information that cannot be shared for other reasons (based on another basis, e.g. the Woo) in a document.
