About this organisation

An algorithm is a set of rules and instructions that a computer follows in an automated way. For example, when making calculations, to solve a problem or answer a question. You can read more about algorithms on the website Overheid.nl. Society is digitising. So is the municipality of Waalwijk. In doing so, we are using algorithms more often. The use of algorithms offers opportunities. But there are also risks. We like to be open and clear about the use of algorithms.
