Goal and impact
Considerations
The algorithm helps send data to the municipality. It concerns safety-netters assessed by the UWV. The algorithm ensures that the municipality only receives data on safety-netters for whom the UWV says the municipality is responsible for their reintegration.
This protects citizens' privacy. An advantage of this algorithm is that it works much faster than when someone does it by hand. This saves a lot of time for municipal employees. Also, fewer mistakes are made this way.
Human intervention
For the IB itself, this algorithm does not involve human intervention. The algorithm executes rules devised by humans and is not 'self-learning'.
However, the IB does ensure that the processing process has been done properly.
The municipality decides whether and how to deal with a change.
Risk management
Citizen privacy is a major concern. This is why we periodically check whether there are risks and what can be done about them. This is called a privacy impact assessment (PIA).
Legal basis
The service provision is carried out within the framework of section 10d Pw, the Regulation on Wage Costs Subsidy Participation Act 2021 and the Regulation on the process of dealing with vangnetters municipal target group Participation Act section 26, fifth paragraph.

Technical design
A. UWV sends daily all reintegration reports of the safety-netters via RINIS (Foundation Routing Institute (Inter)National Information Streams) to the IB and for which the UWV has assessed that the reintegration responsibility lies with the municipality.
B. The IB collects daily the reports provided by UWV (A) and prepares a report for each municipality.
C. The compiled report is made available to the municipality on the IB portal (C).
