Responsible use

Goal and impact

Copilot Chat helps with text creation. This way, we work better and faster. These texts are not about people and companies.

Considerations

There are no downsides for people and businesses. We pay close attention to whether it really helps. Everyone must also have passed the course. The system does not learn from our questions. No data is sent to Microsoft. Saved chats disappear after a day. Copilot is not allowed to search the web.

Human intervention

The human checks the texts and makes sure they are in order. Only when everything is right is the text used. The chat does not decide anything itself.

Risk management

Misuse of AI is prevented by the course (this is called AI Literacy). Disadvantages for humans are prevented by not entering or requesting anything about it. Eavesdropping is prevented in our own safe environment. The model does not learn from us.

Legal basis

As no sensitive data is used, no legal basis is needed.

Elaboration on impact assessments

A DPIA is not required.

Technical design

Copilot Chat is generative AI based on a large language model from OpenAI. We use it as is.
