Artificial Insemination Donor Data Foundation

Stichting donorgevens kunstmatige bevruchting (Sdkb) is tasked with implementing the Law on donor data on artificial insemination (Wdkb), which has been in force since 1 June 2004.

Clinics that perform artificial insemination using a donor must register data on the treatment, the woman treated and the donor with Sdkb. Sdkb stores and manages this data and provides it to donor children, their parents or their GP according to the rules of the Wdkb. In doing so, it provides expert guidance and appropriate support. In addition, Sdkb provides parental declarations for dual motherhood and provides information on the law.

Sdkb does not currently use impactful algorithms and has no plans to do so for the time being.
