The deployment of the model helps in the complete and quick annual determination of the WOZ value of most buildings.

Considerations

To provide all buildings with a new WOZ value every year, the use of a valuation model is very useful. The staff (the valuers) can deal with the trends in the market and quality control of the registration. In addition, with the complex buildings and land that are not provided with a value by the model.

Human intervention

The determined WOZ values are not all assessed individually by a human being. However, checks are made on the basis of samples and totals of groups of buildings.

Risk management

Data

The WOZ uses a number of objective data. These include the house type, house size, land area and year of construction.

Technical design

The valuation model works on a rules-based basis. Information used are realised sales prices and valuations of comparable buildings.
