Help to quickly create clear and well-structured texts. This helps to communicate better with people and companies.

Considerations

Slimtaal supports us as a municipality with writing texts that exactly match the reader's needs. These are texts that fit our goals as writers. It makes suggestions of texts that properly convey what our organisation wants to radiate. It does this by letting the writer think critically for himself, giving language tips and offering e-learnings.

Human intervention

The writer deliberately chooses to use Slimtaal to write a text and what information he/she wants to include. For each section, the writer answers the questions using short text or ticking options. The writer manually reviews and improves the generated sections. After going through all sections, the text is ready. Stopping in between is possible.

Risk management

Smart Language uses smart computing technology to represent texts.

Elaboration on impact assessments

A DPIA is not necessary because there is no high risk to privacy. The criteria listed by European privacy regulators do not apply.

Technical design

The application Slimtaal is an online programme. The writer follows a step-by-step plan to create a text. At each step, the writer answers short questions. Then the writer receives a text proposal from Slimtaal. This roadmap and the questions help the system to create good texts. The writer has a final check and is responsible for the text created.
